No prerequisites. First come, first served

Circus Audition Instructions
Bring six copies of your manuscript (a maximum of 500 words) in STANDARD manuscript format, plus a 25 word or less elevator pitch that you'll read aloud. Once you register for a consultation you will get further instructions on how to indicate your choices of consultants (our two editors, agent, and authors).

How the session will work:  Each participant will have 9 minutes to read their story summary and their 500 words. The other four participants will make notes on their copy of the manuscript. Then the editor or agent will comment on the manuscript. If time, other participants will comment as well, and then the author gets all copies of manuscript back.

Sorry no illustrator sessions this year.

We didn’t have enough participation in 2009, so we’re planning an illustrator event for another time.
